GREEN CROSS JAPAN CELEBRATES 18TH ENVIRONMENTAL DIARY CONTEST AWARD
A special award from Japan’s Environment Minister was handed to the most outstanding student at the 18th “Green Lane” Diary Contest at Green Cross Japan’s ceremony in Tokyo on 10 December 2016. Winning students, their teachers and parents gathered from all over Japan – about 600 people in total.
Nationwide, around 100,000 students participate in Green Cross Japan’s diary programme each year to learn how to protect environment. The children, aged six to 12, keep an environmentally-themed diary over 12 weeks.
The 161 winning students and about 600 people in all attended the ceremony.
