In 2009, Green Cross International (GCI) and Pureology established an international partnership to respond to and raise awareness of the global water crisis. To achieve this goal, both organisations work together worldwide with the following main objectives:
- Support access to water and sanitation projects in rural Ghana under the GCI’s Smart Water for Green Schools (SWGS) Initiative.
- Raise awareness and educate the broader public on sustainability and water issues through the hair salon professional community.
- Support Green Cross’s projects through national campaigns led by Green Cross and Pureology national organisations
Pureology is a professional hair care brand using green botanicals, 100% vegan formulas, packaging comprised of up to 50% post-consumer recycled plastics, and 100% recyclable materials.
Since its inception, Pureology has committed to sustainability and to minimizing the negative environmental impact of its shampoos and hair conditioners.
Pureology’s commitment to sustainability focuses also on raising awareness of water conservation issues within the hair salon industry.
