Global Green USA hosts 4th Annual San Francisco Benefit

On Tuesday, December 2nd, Global Green USA celebrated its 4th Annual San Francisco Benefit. The event was entitled "Gorgeous and Green" and was hosted by Zem Joaquin, Matt Petersen, and Nadine Weil. This year the benefit highlighted Global Green's solar initiatives and green building. Global Green USA released the Green Cross Solar Report Card the same day at the UN Climate Change Conference in Poznan, which strives to increase international attention and investment in clean energy production.

With the aim of creating an event that "focuses on green solutions that can help address the world's economic, energy, and environmental crises," the benefit was indeed a success. All of the proceeds from the event were contributed directly to Global Green initiatives, including its New Orleans programme that strives to rebuild the city green and reduce high-energy bills for low-income families. Guests to "Gorgeous Green" were entertained with an exclusive performance by American Idol finalist Elliot Yamin, a special eco fashion show, and many celebrity appearances.
