The 9th World Summit of Nobel Peace Laureates is currently taking place in Paris (11-13 December 2008). This year the summit is titled "Human rights and a World without violence," seeking to raise awareness about the threat violence, poverty and a lack of resources have on basic human rights and on ensuring a peaceful future for the world.
