Green Cross at World Water Week 2013 (Sept 1-6)

Promoting the importance of international water law as a basis for transboundary water cooperation

Dates: 1-6 September, 2013

Venue: Stockholm, Sweden

2013 was chosen to be the International Year of Water Cooperation by the United Nations. Contributing to several international meetings that paved the year, Green Cross co-hosted a side-event with WWF at the 9th World General Assembly of The International Network of Basin Organizations in Fortaleza, Brazil.

Similarly, Green Cross will co-convene a seminar called "Strengthening the basis for water cooperation across borders" on the 1st day of World Water Week 2013 with a symposium of partners.
