UK, Ireland ratify UN Watercourses Convention

UK, Ireland, UN Watercourses convention, waterThe United Kingdom and Ireland have both completed the UN Watercourses Convention ratification process.

The two countries did this jointly as they share small international watercourses, becoming the 32nd and 33rd State parties to the Convention.

Our partner WWF led the "campaigns" in these two countries.

Ivory Coast should become the 34th State party as the Parliament completed the national ratification process in November.
