Green Cross Netherlands founder leads global interfaith water and sanitation alliance

Green Cross Netherlands chairman and a co-founder of Green Cross International, Rabbi Awraham Soetendorp, has been announced as a co-founder of the Global Interfaith WASH (Water and Sanitation) Alliance.

The alliance was launched on 25 September, 2013, at UNICEF House in New York. In this video, Rabbi Soetendorp discusses the great importance of water and sanitation for the advancement of society, and the role that faith-based organisations can play in ensuring people access these most basic of human rights.
