International Mother Earth Day

Every year on April 22, over a billion people in different countries take action for Earth Day. From San Francisco to San Juan, Beijing to Brussels, Moscow to Marrakesh, people plant trees, clean up their communities, contact their elected officials, and more—all on behalf of the environment. The global organizer behind Earth Day, Earth Day Network creates tools and resources for you to get involved with Earth Day in your community.

Like Earth Days of the past, Earth Day 2015 will focus on the unique environmental challenges of our time.

"International Mother Earth Day is a chance to reaffirm our collective responsibility to promote harmony with nature at a time when our planet is under threat from climate change, unsustainable exploitation of natural resources and other man-made problems. When we threaten the planet, we undermine our only home – and our future survival. On this International Day, let us renew our pledges to honour and respect Mother Earth."
