World Meteorological Day

The global community is calling for Climate Action on 23 March. Every year since 1961, we have commemorated the 1950 introduction of the Convention that established World Meterological Organization, and recognized the essential contribution of the the National Meteorological and Hydrological Services to safety and well-being.

World Meteorological Day is a day to share existing international knowledge, to face the new challenges posed by climate change, and to lead the way towards ambitious future climate initiatives.
