ESS Director to join Chemical Safety and Security Summit in Poland

Green Cross International’s Environmental Security and Sustainability Director, Paul Walker, will be in Poland next week for the Chemical Safety and Security Summit running 18-20 April in Kielce.

The Summit will open with a formal plenary session attended by senior national and international officials, followed by parallel workshops, working sessions, training and discussions. The outcomes of the separate workshops and working sessions will be brought together in a concluding plenary session, which will allow for feedback between the workshop and working session groups and the sharing of assessments in the broader context of the overall Summit.

Discussions will address manufacture, transport and disposal of chemical substances, particular region- and industry-specific challenges, and global best practices, among other things.
