Water Security: Enhancing Multi-Stakeholder Partnerships, 2-3 June

Green Cross will be part of an Innovative and Cutting-Edge Approach to Addressing Water Crises Critically Impacting Security on 2-3 June, 2016. From the Syrian case regarding climate change, water and its impact on security, the panellists will analyse the different features involved in water crises. Their views will be compared with the analyses provided by the Globe Expert Advanced Artificial Intelligence system. Panellists – including Green Cross International’s Adam Koniuszewski and Marie-Laure Vercambre – and participants will identify ways and means to detect, prevent or mitigate water crises by fostering multi-stakeholder action.

The programme will focus on: Climate Change, Water Crisis and Conflict, the Case of Syria; Multi-disciplinary Approaches to Water Governance; New Tools to Analyse Decision Making in Situations of Uncertainty; The Role of International Organisations and National Development Agencies in Cooperative Approaches to Water Governance; Water Management and Trans-border Cooperation; Drinking Water, Water and Sanitation; and Water and Smart technologies.
