Climate Reality Check – After Paris, Counting the Cost

A new report from Breakthrough sets out the challenge ahead for leaders and decision makers following the Paris Agreement’s endorsement of the goal to “hold the increase in global average temperature to well below two degrees celsius, and to pursue efforts to limit the temperature increase to 1.5 degrees.”

Ian T. Dunlop, member of the Climate Change Task Force and the Club of Rome, wrote the Foreword to the publication, in which he cites the need for action that goes far beyond tweaking the current “business-as-usual” model.
