Jonathan Granoff

Jonathan Granoff, President of the Global Security Institute, Adjunct Professor of International Law at Widener University School of Law, is also Co-Chair of the Task Force on Nuclear Nonproliferation of the International Law Section of the American Bar Association. He serves on numerous governing and advisory boards including the Global Dialogue Institute, Middle Powers Initiative, Jane Goodall Institute, Nuclear Age Peace Foundation, Lawyers Committee on Nuclear Policy, Tikkun, and the Bipartisan Security Group.

Mr. Granoff is both a Member of the World Wisdom Council and a Fellow of the World Academy of Arts and Sciences, and has represented the International Peace Bureau at the Nobel Peace Laureate Summits. He lectures worldwide emphasizing the legal, ethical and spiritual dimensions of human development and security, with a specific focus on the threats posed by nuclear weapons and  environmental responsibility, including formal expert testimony before the Secretary General’s Disarmament Advisory Board as well as the US Congress.

He is an award-winning screenwriter (The Constitution) a regular Blogger on the Huffington Post and featured in more than 75 publications. He is engaged in UN affairs, including matters involving the Millennium Development Goals, having produced a documentary on the MDGs (Point of Peace).
