Sustainability Spotlight shines on Missionary Waters

The United States based Missionary Waters “Leave a Legacy” program provides portable water filtration kits for their aid workers in remote areas of the world where clean water is scarce or non-existent.  The kits are then left to communities for their further use.

“Leave a Legacy” was started by CEO and founder of Renewed Waters Allen Korson. He explains, “the concept is simple, to offer affordable, portable water filtration kits.

The most common kit is the RW-2, a lightweight system that can clean up to 150 gallons per day. Renewed Waters supplies these kits to Missionary Waters who then use them in the field.

The kits are presently being used in Haiti and the program goal is to send 3,000 of them to the Philippines.
